Working Principle:

The LT8610AHMSE-3.3#PBF is designed to work in either constant-current or constant-voltage mode. In constant-current mode, the output current is determined by a resistor connected between the SNS and CS pins. This resistor, in combination with an onboard 1.18V reference and a control loop, provide a constant-current output in the range of 0.5mA to 15A. In constant-voltage mode, the voltage is set by a resistor connected between the SNS and FB pins. The regulated output voltage can be set up to 9.5V. The device also includes a low dropout voltage and low quiescent current (LDO) regulator that can be used to set the estimated Timer_conv_OV pin voltage level.

The LT8610AHMSE-3.3#PBF has a high switching frequency of 1MHz or 2MHz, allowing for a very fast response time and high efficiency over a wide range of load current and input voltage conditions.
