Working Principle

The LTC3765MPMSE#PBF has two channels that contain independent high-side and low-side drivers, current and voltage limits, over temperature protection and a 1% precision voltage reference. It operates on a single 5V or 3.3V input supply. The output voltage and current are monitored and controlled by the use of independent adjustable internal current and voltage limits.

The controller includes a user-adjustable 10V reference voltage that has an accuracy of ±1%. Additionally, the LTC3765MPMSE#PBF can be configured to synchronize with an external clock signal, which allows it to control multiple Power Supply pwm controllers. Pulse by pulse current limit protection provides overcurrent protection by shutting down each switching cycle at the onset of current overlimit condition.
