The LTC3891IUDC#TRPBF is a 6-bit synchronous buck controller that operates in voltage-mode or current-mode, with paralleled switches. The device accepts a digital programming interface through which the user can configure operating parameters and enable protection features.

The buck controller consumes a very small amount of power and is characterized by low quiescent current, fast transient response and low output voltage ripple. The switching frequency is automatically adjusted to maintain peak inductor current, even during heavy transient and light load conditions.
