This type of configuration allows for the use of multiple small-gauge wires to reduce noise, increase efficiency, and reduce switching losses. The LTC3896HFE#PBF can provide up to 20A of peak current with an output voltage range of 0.8V to 5.5V.The LTC3896HFE#PBF can be used in a wide range of applications such as charging applications, distributed power systems, high-voltage/power LED drivers, and other PoL applications.The device features an internal regulator, which eliminates the need for an external voltage regulator, and has a monitor output to provide feedback on the load current.The LTC3896HFE#PBF has many features for increased performance. It includes an internal temperature sensor for thermal control, an hysteretic loop for current control, and an adjustable VOUT for voltage setting.
