Working Principle of LTC4227IUFD-3#TRPBF

If the voltage on the VSENSE pin exceeds the forward voltage (Vf) of the current-limit sensing diode, then a current-limit pulse begins and the current-limit threshold is exceeded. At this point, the device will now limit the current going through the system by turning off the power to the electronic board or card being inserted or removed. This current-limit condition will persist until the current falls below the current-limit threshold or the overvoltage condition is cleared.
