The LTC6253HMS8#PBF combines the IA and BA on a single chip to provide a very flexible linear amplifier. The IA acts as a high impedance differential amplifier, providing superior linearity, bandwidth, and common mode rejection. The BA acts as a low-impedance voltage source, providing low distortion and high output swing. The IA circuit has two inputs, an inverting input (V-) and a non-inverting input (V+). When a differential input voltage is applied to these two inputs, the gain of the amplifier is determined by the ratio of the resistors connected to the feedback pin (FB_). The FB_ pin is internally connected to the non-inverting input of the IA. This connection allows the non-inverting input to see only the differential input voltage. The CMRR of the IA is determined by the ratio of the resistive feedback divider network and the differential gain. The maximum CMRR of the IA is 80 dB. The IA output is connected to the input of the buffer amplifier. The buffer amplifier is a rail-to-rail output amplifier. The slew rate and current output of the buffer amplifier are ideally suited for driving external devices. The voltage output swing is ± 5V with respect to VREF, which is connected to the power supply.Conclusion
