The LV8711T-MPB-H is a digital intelligent brushless DC motor driver and controller. As a PMIC (Power Management Integrated Circuit), it has been designed to meet the need of motor driver, controller and power management in a range of world-wide motor applications. It integrates a variety of motor drive and protection functions, providing a cost-effective, robust and high-integrity design solution. It is the perfect solution for DC motor applications requiring moderate speed, maximum accuracy, and minimum power requirements.

At the core of LV8711T-MPB-H motor driver and controller is a powerful and low-loss FET gate driver, enabling it to drive large brushless DC motors with ease. It implements a robust digital signal processor (DSP) technology, which allows for fast digital control algorithms and a wide range of software features such as closed loop control, position and velocity control, current measurement and limit control, speed control and torque feedback. This all makes it the perfect choice for automation and robotics applications.

The LV8711T-MPB-H uses a closed loop control design that centrally monitors, adjusts and optimizes the motor operation for improved stability, accuracy, and cost effective operation. This system applies the principles of linear and non-linear control systems together with various methods of sensing motor performance.
