Working Principle
The working principle of the LX8233ILQ-TR involves a two-stage protocol of over-voltage and over-current protection. As soon as a voltage monitoring gauge is activated, the controller will be alerted when it detects an excess of voltage. If the voltage exceeds the pre-set threshold, the controller shuts down the power IO rail to protect against further damage. Similarly, if an over-current situation occurs, the controller will emit an alert signal and immediately shut down the power IO rail. This type of protection helps prevent any damage that could be caused by an unexpected surge in electricity or current.
To make sure that the right voltage is always also supply throughout the system, the controller features a built-in voltage monitor and adjustable over-voltage protection settings. This allows the user to adjust the controller\'s output voltage in order to get the precise amount of power input desired. It also provides a precise shutdown process, automatically protecting the device from any power related problems when the given criteria is met.
The LX8233ILQ-TR is also designed with a wide range of current-protection levels and is able to handle currents up to 500A.
