Working Principle

The M45PE80-VMW6G utilizes the NAND-Flash technology, which stores information in a matrix of floating gates arranged in cells. When a certain voltage is applied to the gate, the electrons that pass through will move from one cell to another. When the voltage is removed, the electrons will remain in the cells they passed through. This functionality makes it possible to store data on the embedded device.

In addition, the M45PE80-VMW6G supports a feature called advanced-load-management. Since the device is designed with high-speed reading and writing abilities, it allows the system to read and write data quickly. Additionally, the device is equipped with an on-chip 8KB SRAM buffer, which enables fast page integrity check and provides read-after-write capabilities.
