The M5272C3 application field is that it is designed for embedded real time applications. It is a powerful, yet economical, breakthrough member of the fifth generation Technologic Systems\' Microprocessor-in-a-Chip (MCU) family. This chip has an integrated rich peripheral set which includes 32-bit processor, 2 analog and 3 digital Converters, 1 DMA, 4 timers, 2 pulse-width modulation (PWM) outputs and up to 13 general purpose inputs/outputs (GPIO).

The M5272C3 is a highly versatile embedded processor that can be used for a variety of applications, such as in automobiles, industrial automation, control systems, and medical instruments. It can also be used for embedded processor applications requiring high performance through fast interrupt response. Additionally, the M5272C3 is an ideal platform for design and development of real-time embedded control solutions for portable, desktop, and related applications.

The M5272C3 is based on a 32-bit RISC processor with a 16-bit instruction set. It is designed with an onboard hardware multiplier and can executes multiple instructions in one clock cycle. The M5272C3’s 32-bit registers enable it to process data faster than the 8-bit and 16-bit MCU architectures.
