M5485EVB is an evaluation board based on M5485 MIPS microprocessor core. This board is designed to demonstrate the characteristics and capabilities of the M5485 microprocessor. The board can be used in various embedded application fields like control systems, automotive, and medical applications.

M5485EVB consists of the MCPU and DSP modules. The MCPU module is based on the M5485 core and enables developers to evaluate the on-chip MIPS architecture. It has on-chip a 32-bit, 3-stage pipeline CPU, 64KB Instruction cache, 128KB Data Cache, Integrated Memory Controller, System control unit, system bus controller, and more. It can execute software instructions at up to 200MHz clock rate.

The DSP module is based on the M5485 core which is a 32-bit, 5-stage pipeline, multi-threading CPU. This module enables developers to evaluate the on-chip MIPS architecture. It has on-chip a 32-bit, 3-stage pipeline CPU, 64KB Instruction cache, 128KB Data Cache, System control unit, system bus controller, and more. It can parse and process DSP instructions at up to 700MHz clock rate.

The M5485EVB board includes several peripherals like dual-channel usb 2.0, Ethernet, serial ports, HDMI, and parallel ports. It also has 8MB of RAM and 512MB of Flash memory.
