Analog to Digital Converters (ADC) are a key component of Data Acquisition systems, as they allow for input signals in the form of an analog wave to be translated in a digital format or data. The MAX11044BETN+T is a low noise, high performance, low power, 16-bit analog to digital converter that has a programmable sample rate up to 10.5Msps. This converter operates from either a single +2.7V to +5.25V, or ±2.25V to ±4.5V, analog supply and a single +1.8V digital supply. It features an internal reference voltage of 2.048V and has a range of input voltages from 0V to 3V. The ADC operates on a 3-wire SPI-compatible serial interface and has four output modes: 1, 2, 4 and 8 cycles. The MAX11044BETN+T offers extended dynamic range with THD of –87dB, a sample voltage of 13.5mV and a Signal-to-Noise-Ratio (SNR) of 95dB.
