An internal sample and hold circuit is used to sample and hold the signal from the T/H amplifier when a trigger signal is received.At the output of the sample and hold circuit, an 8-, 10-, 12- or 16-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) is used to convert the analog signal into a digital word.
