They feature excellent low power features including extremely low quiescent current and shutdown current consumption. The MAX11284ETL+T also offer wide input ranges and programmable gain settings, as well as on-chip sample and hold and voltage reference circuitry.The MAX11284ETL+T is a single-channel, 10-bit ADC that operates over a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It uses a succeeding approximation register (SAR) architecture to convert an analog input into a 10-bit digital code. The device has a maximum clock frequency of 3.2MHz and a maximum conversion time of 250ms. It also features no missing codes, rail-to-rail input, low power consumption and a programmable gain setting.The MAX11284ETL+T is suitable for a wide range of data acquisition applications such as industrial measurements and process control systems, automotive electronics, audio/video systems, instrumentation and control, medical systems and portable devices. To further reduce power consumption and meet the needs of ultra low power applications, the device includes a variety of power management features including a standby mode, low power sleep mode and adjustable clock frequency.In addition, the MAX11284ETL+T provides a variety of digital outputs including serial interfaces such as I2C, SPI and two wire UART, as well as digital pins for communication.
