The device is built from a highly integrated architecture consisting of three major blocks: Power Amplifier, Frequency Modulation (FM) and Modulator, and the RF Front-End.The Power Amplifier is able to deliver up to 20dBm of saturated output power. The Power Amplifier is controlled by an internal frequency modulator block, which is responsible for controlling the output frequency and the modulation types on the output signal. The modulation type can range from simple AM/PM modulation to complex FIR-shaped code modulation. Additionally, the Power Amplifier also features an adjustable output power level, allowing for power optimization for different operating conditions.The Frequency Modulator block is responsible for implementing the various modulation techniques used in the MAX14726ETE+T RF Transmitter. It is programmable for up to three different modulation forms, either FM, PM or FIR-coded modulation. The modulator also supports applications requiring fast switching between different modulation techniques.The RF Front-End block supports the complete operation of the device and provides support for antenna matching, sweeping, and gain adjustment.
