In addition, if the detect logic detects a frame error, the device can reset itself and/or enter reset state.
The MAX14842ATE+ can also be configured with a special decode logic to detect various types of incoming signals. This decode logic is based on the 4-bit Gray code, which is used to detect various types of errors on the incoming signals. In addition, a clock-fastening circuit is available on the device to ensure that the incoming signals remain synchronized with the local clock.
