The device is compliant with the IEEE 802.3 Ethernet interface standard for both baseband and OFDM specifications, and provides full-duplex operation with independent receive and transmit data paths.The device supports auto-negotiation (AN) coding, Protocol operation and 802.3u implements carrier sense multiple access with collision detect (CSMA/CD) in half-duplex mode.

Receiver Features

The MAX1490EBEPG+ receiver has a maximum data transfer rate of 10/100 Mbps, adjustable duplex mode, and auto-Negotiation that supports 10BaseT and 100BaseT1. The receiver can detect link rate and link integrity, and is compliant with the IEEE 802.3 signal encoding and signal detection protocol.

Transmit Features
