Digital Isolators are devices that allow two or more sections of an electronic system to be isolated from one another. The MAX14933AWE+ application field and working principle is one example of a digital isolator. The digital isolator is designed with an optically-isolated transistor-level interface. The MAX14933AWE+ is designed to ensure that all ground and line-level noise signals do not affect the signals passing through it. It offers a wide range of isolation frequencies, including up to 50 kHz for DC signals and up to 6 MHz for noisy signals, thanks to the patented capacitive coupling technology. The design also provides high isolation ratings up to 2500V RMS and is certified to provide EMC/RFI and electromagnetic protection up to 1000V/m.

The device also provides a wide range of operating power supplies, with its recommended operating voltage range between 2.5V and 5.0V.
