<p>The MAX14970ETP+ intermediate single board computer (SBC) signal buffer, repeater, and splitter are integrated circuits that are designed to extend the range of an SBC’s operating environment. This type of IC supports signal buffering, signal boosting, data duplication, and signal splitting. Signals received by the input of the IC are amplified, split, and buffered until the output signal reaches its destination, allowing reliable communication at low power consumption.</p><p>The MAX14970ETP+ provides a single-ended open-collector driver that allows for the transmission of signals from one board to another. This means that the signal can be sent from one IC to another without having to worry about signal loss or distortion.</p><p>The MAX14970ETP+ is also designed to decrease the noise susceptibility of the SBC by amplifying the signal and increasing the signal-to-noise ratio.
