The MAX15015BATX+T is a step-down DC-DC converter with a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 38V and adjustable output voltage down to 0.6V. This voltage regulator controller is a high-performance current-mode step-down switching regulator that can deliver up to 3A of output current and is suitable for applications such as battery-powered products, portable electronics, and automotive. It features a low-ripple Burst Mode® operation and a simple design, enabling optimized design flexibility, better transient response, and fast load transients.The MAX15015BATX+T is a highly efficient device, providing up to 94% efficiency and designed for use in a variety of switch-mode power supplies. In addition, it features over-current protection, current limiting, short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown, and adjustable VCC under-voltage lockout (UVLO). It includes a built-in digital programmable-current limit (DPCL) feature that allows the designer to further increase system reliability by setting the peak current limit much closer to the device’s capabilities.
