The MAX1579ETG+ is a high-performance switching step-down controller designed to operate from a 4V input supply. It’s the latest addition to Maxim Integrated’s portfolio of switching step-down controllers, and has been designed to simplify the design of power supplies for today’s increasingly challenging applications.
MAX1579ETG+ is a specialized power management integrated circuit (PMIC) for applications requiring tight load regulation, fast transient response and excellent load-transient capabilities. This PMIC allows for smaller and more efficient power supplies with fewer external components. It has features to support a wide range of voltage and current levels, and can operate over the extended temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
The MAX1579ETG+ is a unique design that combines a buck switching controller, MOSFETs, and a switching clock generator on one IC.
