MAX16904RATB50+T is a high-performance, dual-channel, buck switching DC regulator, intended for a variety of uses in the development of point-of-load power solutions. With a wide VIN range of 4.5V to 60V and a variety of output voltage options, the MAX16904RATB50+T is capable of delivering up to 1.5A of continuous current and up to 3A of peak current with a single channel and up to 6A with synchronized dual channels.

The regulator is controlled by a variety of interfaces, including I2C, SPI, and one-shot PWM with adjustable frequency. It is also available with a wide range of features, such as adjustable switching frequency, adjustable output voltage, programmable slew and/or soft-start time, and power-good indicator. Working Principle

The MAX16904RATB50+T is a dual-channel, synchronous buck regulator. Its operation is based on a pulse width modulation (PWM) switching technique, which enables it to regulate the output current, voltage, and power to provide a stable voltage supply for the load.
