The MAX17020ETJ+ is an integrated, 1-cell Li+ battery fuel gauge IC that is designed to monitor and analyze a single-cell Li+ battery charge and discharge cycles accurately and quickly. The IC utilizes a low-cost sense resistor plus a patented algorithm to give an accurate measurement of the battery’s state-of-charge (SoC) and state-of-health (SoH) and provide dynamic battery model parameters.
