The MAX17500AEUB+T is a DC-DC switching voltage regulator controller which is designed for Vcon-regulation, to achieve various kinds of output voltages. With the low quiescent current and low shutdown current, it is suitable for space-constrained battery powered portable voice, data, and video applications, like digital still cameras, cellular phones, and digital audio players. The wide input voltage range from 1.8 V to 5.5 V and output voltage down to 0.6V with 375mA output current capability make it an optimal choice for such applications.Features

Working Principle
The MAX17500AEUB+T uses voltage loop regulation to achieve various kinds of output voltages. An internal current mirror, ramp generator, and comparator are used to form the voltage loop regulation system. Output voltage is monitored by the voltage loop from Vout pin and feedback to the volt-converter and through FB pin. The volt- converter reduces the high input voltage to the lower output voltage, which greatly reduce the power consumption. Two internal control loops, the outer voltage loop and inner current loop are the key components of this scheme. The voltage loop maintains the voltage at FB pin. The current loop controls the internal switch current. Both loops cooperate with each other and ensure the stable power supply to the output.The current mirror circuit which is used to sense the switch current also activates an internal compensation capacitor to achieve soft-start and over-current protection. An external compensation pin allows the user to adjust the loop compensation by adding external capacitor and resistor.The specific data is subject to PDF, and the above content is for reference
