The MAX188BEAP+T is a low cost, low power, high performance, self-calibrating, continuous-time sigma-delta A/D converter that operates from both five volt and 3.3V supplies. Combining most of the advanced features that are usually limited to high end data acquisition systems into a small, highly integrated 28-pin package, the MAX188BEAP+T can provide single supply operation, high precision, low power, and low cost. With this device, the customer can select either the cmos output or the lcmos output to meet the application needs. It is suitable for industrial, health care and consumer applications.

The MAX188BEAP+T combines a low power, high performance 16-bit A/D converter and a T-circuit 20/18-bit Sigma-Delta modulator with two inverting amplifiers and two, four-state control switches, all on a single chip. The device has a great feature which is an integrated, self-calibrating sample and hold that allows single-supply operation. The self-calibrating feature also reduces board design complexity and cost.

The MAX188BEAP+T is designed to increase accuracy, minimize errors and to minimize system power consumption.
