The MAX20335EVKIT# is an Evaluation and Demonstration Board and Kit which can be used to test sensor nodes, reduce complexity when developing designs, and help quickly bring products to market. The kit is designed to interface with several of Maxim\'s MAX20335 family of temperature sensors. It has an onboard temperature sensor to provide for measurement accuracy over temperature, and for testing the accuracy of the external sensor, making it well suited to service industries where fast and accurate temperature measurements are key.
The MAX20335EVKIT# is composed of many parts, each with their own function. Onboard the kit is the MAX20335 family of temperature sensors, which offer five analog channels and one digital channel for temperature measurement. These sensors are connected to a Daughter Card (DC) that is responsible for all interfacing with the host processor. The DC consists of the EV Kit# base board, a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) daughter board, and a BasicJade-Mini daughter board. The SPI board provides the interface for the MAX20335 family of temperature sensors. The BasicJade-Mini daughter board is a plug-and-play development platform, which enables an automated host processor to interface with the Sensors and the DC. It has an onboard temperature sensor for accuracy testing and offers a clean and easy interface for the user.
The EV Kit# base board uses Maxim\'s FPGA implementation of the MAX20325E family of temperature sensors. This FPGA allows for quicker implementation of designs and faster transition from prototyping to production than with a microprocessor. The board also has two on-board regulators supported by a DC/DC converter. This carrier board comes with a programming port to enable quick and easy software development.
The MAX20335EVKIT# is suited to a wide range of applications, such as commercial and industrial process control, HVAC, water heater systems, automotive and other environmental monitoring systems, medical instrumentation, and other consumer products.
