The MAX211CDW operates on a 2.7V - 5.5V power supply. The integrated output is open drain NMOS. The data input and data output, as well as the control inputs are CMOS/TTL compatible.The MAX211CDW supports both serial and parallel data transmission and reception over the single differential input/output data port. The device is able to receive and transmit data from 0.3 to 5.3V levels. The output of the device is capable of sinking several mA of current and is compatible with TTL, CMOS, and LVTTL logic.
The MAX211CDW contains an integrated control circuit which allows for the automatic switching of logic levels between transmission and reception modes.
