It contains two receivers and two drivers that ensure RS-232 signal translation levels between two PC systems connected via serial communication cable. It also allows Rx, Tx, RTS, and CTS signals to be connected to both PC systems.The MAX232ECDWR used in various communication applications has easy level shifting on all of the supported signals. This device is useful for bi-directional communication between two PC systems in applications like bar-code readers, point-of-sale kiosks, medical equipment, security systems, etc.The MAX232ECDWR interface ensures data integrity, error detection, and noise immunity, and provides solutions in a wide operating temperature range.
