The MAX2620EVKIT is a high-performance RF Evaluation and Development Kit that enables design, test and evaluation of various RF applications. The board contains two MAX2620Z evalSystem integrated circuits (ICs), a Quintic-developed power management IC, and two voltage-controlled oscillators (VCXOs). It also contains comprehensive support circuitry such as LED indicators, DIP switches, potentiometers, and jumpers.The MAX2620EVKIT is designed to assist with the evaluation of the MAX2620 RF transceiver. It is a low-power, silicon germanium (SiGe) RF IC, offering a wide frequency range from 325 to 625MHz, making it ideal for many applications, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, and wireless home audio/video systems. The board is designed to allow designers to evaluate the dynamic range, RF performance, and power consumption of the MAX2620.The MAX2620EVKIT features two fully integrated nine-bit configurable frequency synthesizers, an internal LNA and a dual-channel programmable variable gain amplifier (PGA). The board also contains a 3V Li-Ion battery power supply, a set of LEDs for system oversight/diagnostics, and a 20-pin JTAG header for programming and debugging.
