The MAX2690EUb is a high-performance RF Mixer from Maxim Integrated, designed for LTE/Advanced Pro and 5G applications. It boasts a low conversion loss, excellent linearity, broad gain flatness, and high harmonic rejection for better performance and better integration with RF systems.
This RF mixer is suitable for a wide range of applications, including radio receivers, public safety band receivers, wireless infrastructure and cellular base stations, voice-over-IP telephony, remote sensing, military radios, satellite communications, and many more. It is designed to meet the stringent linearity and harmonic rejection requirements of current and future LTE/Advanced Pro and 5G standards.
The MAX2690EUb offers a low conversion loss of less than 2 dB over its full frequency range, with a typical insertion loss of less than 1 dB. It also provides excellent linearity, with second-order intercept (IP2) of more than 30 dBm and third-order intercept (IP3) of more than 35 dBm, and harmonics rejection of 90 dBc. The wide gain flatness of 1 dB ensures robust performance in applications such as cellular base stations.
With its low power consumption of 5 mW, the MAX2690EUb is optimized for low power and low cost systems. It is designed to be easy to integrate with a wide variety of RF systems, thanks to its wide operating frequency range of 0.5 to 6.5 GHz, high linearity and low noise figure of greater than 6 dB. The device operates from a single 3.3 V supply, with a low power reset pin for easy disable/enable low power operation.
