MAX338MSE/PR3+T is a type of high quality, versatile, 8:1 analog multiplexer/demultiplexer chip which is a member of the MAX338 family of CMOS-based multiplexing solutions. This chip provides high isolation and low on-state resistance at very low power and cost. It is suitable for applications such as audio, data conversion, and digital signal routing, and is ideal for applications which demand a wide range of input levels and providing switching of analog signals in a variety of applications.MAX338MSE/PR3+T has a wide operating range of 1.65 V to 6.5 V, and an input tolerant of up to 18 V. The chip has eight inputs and two outputs, allowing for an 8:1 routing of analog signals. The chip also has two On-Board power channels, allowing for up to 8 channels of low-level signal routing in a single package. This chip is designed to withstand up to 150 mA of current, and can be pool-driven with no need for external buffering or level shifters.The chip has an analog multiplexer/demultiplexer which can be used to route and switch analog signals, using low on resistance. The On-Board power channels allow for the chip to be self-biased, and provide high isolation without the need of external buffering or level shifters.
