The MAX3804ETE+T is a single, very low power, CMOS transceiver with many applications in the interface - drivers, receivers, and transceivers category. The device features a low-power, logic-controlled, differential, half-duplex transceiver interface with a single-ended, input/output (I/O) buffered data interface. The device is designed to operate with data rates up to 8Mbps, allowing it to be used with a wide variety of data applications including RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485, as well as other low-power serial interfaces.
