MAX308CSE

The MAX308CSE is an analog switch, multiplexer and demultiplexer integrated circuit. It is made up of two four-channel multiplexers (or 32 single-pole, single-throw analog switches), four quaternary multiplexers/demultiplexers and two advanced output stages. The device can be operated in both latching and non-latching modes, and can be used for a variety of signal switching applications.

In its simplest configuration, the MAX308CSE is an analog multiplexer composed of 32 single-pole, single-throw analog switches. It can be used to multiplex up to 32 data inputs to a single output. By utilizing the control inputs, it can be configured to select any one of the 32 data inputs at a time, and switch between them on a periodic basis. This makes the device well-suited for signal conditioning and signal processing applications.

The MAX308CSE also features a quaternary multiplexer/demultiplexer circuit. This circuit allows the device to be used as an analog multiplexer or an analog demultiplexer. In multiplexer mode, one input signal (the select signal) is used to select one of four data inputs and route it to the single analog output. In demultiplexer mode, the single data input is routed to one of four analog outputs, depending on the select signal. This makes the device ideal for combining and splitting signals.

The MAX308CSE is further equipped with two advanced output stages. These stages enable the device to provide additional control in both latching and non-latching modes. The latching mode allows the output to remain in its last switched position, even after the control input is no longer applied. The non-latching mode returns the output to its default state when the control input is not applied. This allows the device to be used in both on/off and switched applications.
