The MAX4558EEE+ is an analog switch composed of two single-channel , CMOS analog multiplexers and two single-channel , CMOS analog demultiplexers. This device is designed for use in applications that require channels to switch one of two input signals and provide two outputs, making it ideal for data acquisition, automatic test equipment, video switching, and pulse applications. This quad audio switcher enables fast, low-power , and high-precision operation with a wide range of operating voltage and temperature capability.

The MAX4558EEE+ is made up of four independent switches with a wide range of operating voltage and temperature capability, offering flexibility and enabling designers to select the ideal switch for the application they are designing. As a result, the MAX4558EEE+ is suitable for many data acquisition, test and measurement, switching, and application fields. The device has low power consumption, up to 120-ohm to ground, low charge injection, and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C – enabling operation in a variety of industrial, automotive and consumer applications.

The MAX4558EEE+ works with voltage-controlled analog switches, which means that a voltage input controls which input signal will be connected to the output.
