The MAX5704AUB+T is a low power, monolithic, voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with 8-bit resolution. This device is ideal for data acquisition applications such as motion control, industrial automation, and precision measurement and control. The MAX5704AUB+T can be used in a wide variety of data acquisition, control and automation systems where precise digital-to-analog conversions are required.

The MAX5704AUB+T provides rail-to-rail voltage output, with an output range of 0V to Vref, where Vref can be adjusted in increments of up to 16V using an external resistor divider. The MAX5704AUB+T has an asynchronous reset capability and an internal voltage reference which improves settling time in high sampling rate systems and reduces design complexity.

The MAX5704AUB+T is designed to interface seamlessly with 8-bit microprocessors and DSPs. It has a low power consumption of only 1.3 mW, making it suitable for battery operated systems like portable and handheld applications.
