The MAX5918LEEE+ is an integrated high-voltage Hot Swap MOSFET controller targeting server-grade systems and other applications requiring fault protection and high reliability. This controller is capable of delivering a wide range of current levels, from mA to A levels, with a minimum output voltage of 0.5 V. Additionally, the controller enables bidirectional current flow between two high-voltage supply rails while providing overcurrent/over temperature protection.

The MAX5918LEEE+ is designed to simplify board-level Hot Swap designs by providing a full monitoring, protection and control feature set. Its single-pin master control interface allows for full Hot Swap functionality. It is capable of supporting the latest server-grade Hot Swap boards with its small footprint, low standby currents and fast on/off time.
