It achieves this through a combination of synchronous rectification and pulse width modulation (PWM) techniques. The integrated circuit contains four switching stages, which include an input stage, two buck converters, and a DC-to-DC switching regulator.In the input stage, an inductor or transformer creates a voltage bridge, which is supplied to the input of the switching regulator. The input stage generates an AC voltage, which is then converted to a DC voltage.The two buck converters are triggered by the PWM signal generated by the regulator.
