MAX8630WETD25+T is a part of MAX8630 family which is designed as a primary-side LED driver IC for power supplies with LED backlighting. It integrates LED switch and PWM dimming control which provides instant dimming control, improved power factor, and lower THD performance when compared with traditional single-switched flyback topology. The device is ideally suited for driving LEDs from 15VAC to 265VAC wide range AC power line voltage. It is the main component for controlling similar lighting systems.

The MAX8630WETD25+T is especially suitable for driving high power LED arrays directly from a wide range AC sources, without need of external components. The maximum output power of the MAX8630WETD25+T is 25W. It also provides programmable current regulation and an operating frequency of up to 250kHz.
