The minimum reset voltage can be manually adjusted by varying the signal at the VTH pin.The device also has two optional reset/watchdog timers. The first is a watchdog timer, which triggers a reset signal if a signal is not received on its WDI pin within a fixed time period. The second is a blanking timer, which can be set to ignore short length pulses on its RST# pin.The device can generate both active high and active low reset signals, with output latching for active low signals. The reset signal is generated when the input voltage falls below the reset threshold, and maintains until the reset voltage is higher than the reset threshold, plus hysteresis.The device also has an active low shut down pin, EN, which can be used to stop the reset function. When the EN pin is set low, the device will not generate a reset signal and all active resets are cleared.The reset signal can be asserted using the manual reset pin RST# or the open drain /push-pull external reset pinERS. The external reset pin can be connected to external power, peripheral devices, and circuits to generate a reset signal.
