It offers outputs up to 20 A sourced and 5 A sunk per channel and the switching speed is up to 188 V/ns, making it suitable for high-speed motor control applications.The gate driver uses an external reference voltage, typically 0.1V, to accurately sense the current flowing through the output MOSFET. The current-sense resistor needs to be connected close to the gate-source pin in order to effectively sense and generate an accurate signal. The MCP14E4T-E/SNVAO also features an adjustable pulse-width modulation (PWM) frequency, adjustable dead time, and adjustable current limit.This PMIC also features an over-temperature protection circuit that shuts down the IC when the junction temperature exceeds a certain temperature.
