Data Acquisition, or DAQ, is a highly technical vocabulary within the electronic field which basically describes the transfer of analog or digital information from a sensor, device, or other physical object into a form suitable for computer processing, such as a digital signal or an analog signal. Digital to Analog Converters (DAC) are an essential part of the DAQ process and are very important in many applications. Out of DACs, MCP4901-E/MC is being used in a variety of applications to convert digital data into an analog voltage or current.

MCP4901-E/MC (DDCP) is a Monolithic 8-bit Digital to Analog Converter (DAC).
