The MCT5211SR2M is an optically-isolated transistor output, photovoltaic optoisolator device designed to provide basic control functions in specified digital/analog and switching circuits. The LED\'s anode and cathode are connected directly to the photocell\'s anode and cathode, respectively. When the LED is energized, current passes through the optoisolator, and the current activates the switching element.
The MCT5211SR2M also features a built-in active output stage with an adjustable drive current. The output drive current is adjustable via a trimmer pot, allowing for further optimization of output current to match the requirements of each application.
