The MIC2506BM is a low-cost, low-power current-sense power distribution switch that provides an economical solution for high-current applications. This device integrates a precision 2mΩRDS(ON) DMOS power switch, current sense amplifier, over-current and thermal shut-down circuit. The MIC2506BM is able to operate from a wide supply voltage range (2.7V to 5.5V).

The MIC2506BM is available in an 8-pin, quadflat no-lead (QFN) package. The MIC2506BM is optimized for battery-powered applications such as smart phones, tablet PCs, and many others. Working Principle
