It enables direct measurements of power converter performance parameters, with a choice of output parameters, output voltage, and maximum allowed current.The board contains two channels and each of them is provided with a two-stage DC/DC converter, with an input voltage range from 9 V to 30 V. Both channels combine an electrolytic capacitor with two MOSFETs in a synchronous buck configuration. Both channels can be operated individually and simultaneously.The MIC45116-2YMP-EV is designed to demonstrate the performance of the MIC45116-2YMP step-down switching regulator circuit, allowing the engineer to quickly understand how the integrated circuit functions. The unique design eliminates several components of the reference design, allowing the engineer to measure the performance of the MIC45116-2YMP quickly and conveniently.The MIC45116-2YMP-EV evaluation board is a complete solution for evaluating the MIC45116-2YMP switching regulator IC.
