This linear regulator is designed for use in applications such as cellular phones, industrial systems, portable computers, automotive, telecommunications and military systems.The MIC5282-3.3YMME-TR provides excellent thermal performance, low output noise and fast dynamic response. The device provides 8-bit step-down buck-boost operation, with a maximum output current of 1.8A. The internal control circuit enables pulse width modulation (PWM) control, allowing the user to obtain preset voltage levels. It also features low output voltage ripple, reverse current protection and an adjustable UVLO threshold.The device\'s thermal shutdown feature protects the device from potential catastrophic damage due to over-temperature. The over-current protection and over-voltage protection functions increases system stability and protect the device from excessive current or voltage.
