Its power-saving features allow it to operate with low quiescent current consumption and low output noise, making it suitable for use in a variety of applications ranging from consumer electronics to automotive.The MIC5370-SMYMT-TR is a fully integrated, low voltage, low power, single-ended linear voltage regulator that provides a constant voltage output for applications that require low output voltages. It has an adjustable output voltage range from -3.3V to -5V. The output voltage can be programmed by changing the resistance of the external resistor between its feedback pin (FB) and the ground pin (GND). For example, the desired output voltage can be achieved by connecting a 10 kΩ resistor from the FB pin to the GND pin, and the MIC5370-SMYMT-TR will then adjust its output voltage as required.The MIC5370-SMYMT-TR features an adjustable current limit in order to prevent possible damage due to overload. The current limit can be adjusted by connecting an external resistor between the current limit set pin (I_SET) and the ground pin. Additionally, the MIC5370-SMYMT-TR also features an enable pin (EN) that can be used to control the power of the regulator.
