Working Principle
The MIC841NYC5-T5 is a linear comparator which compares two electrical signals to determine the switching point. The two signals are inputted into two measuring points A and B, where one signal is reference signal and the other is control signal. When the control signal’s voltage is equal to, or greater than, the reference signal’s voltage, the output of the linear comparator will switch and the output will go low. On the contrary, when the control signal’s voltage is lower than the reference signal voltage, the output of the linear comparator will remain high.
