MM3Z18VST1G is a Zener Diode in SOT-23 package with a Zener voltage of 18V. This diode is mainly used for protecting a circuit from high transient voltages and also acts as a voltage regulator in the circuit. It is an ideal device for providing reverse-polarity protection and can also be used as a voltage reference in microprocessors and other sensitive electronic components.

This diode has a special feature which is known as the "Zener Breakdown", which is the property of the diode that allows it to regulate the voltage across it.
