The MMQA27VT1G is a unidirectional, bi-directional, or transient voltage suppressor (TVS) Diode specifically designed to protect applications from ESD and or other electrical over-voltage events.

The MMQA27VT1G is the latest bi-directional, unidirectional, or transient voltage suppressor (TVS) Diode which is specifically designed to protect a variety of applications from ESD and or other electrical over-voltage events. It is capable of providing excellent levels of sustained off-state and on-state surge performance from 6 V to 24 V with transparent on-state current levels from 6 A to 20 A. The MMQA27VT1G’s low clamping voltagw level from 9.5 V to 80 V as well as capacitance of less than 5 pF, makes it an ideal selection of TVS Diode in a variety of process control systems and voltage regulated systems applications.

MMQA27VT1G TVS Diode is primarily employed to limit the voltage during abnormal condition, like short circuit and overload. It also can be used to limit the voltage and reduce the inrush current of the electric motor.
