The MMQA30VT1G device is a TVS diode based on the patented “Overvoltage-Limiting” (OVL) technology. The device works by limiting the voltage, preventing it from exceeding a critical threshold and causing circuit or component damage. The OVL technology consists of two cascaded avalanche breakdown protection zones that protect the voltage in two stages. In the first stage, the voltage is limited to a “safe level”. In the second stage, the voltage is limited to a “tolerable level”. The device also uses an advanced clamping circuit to provide high-speed response time.
